Important Things to Know

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

It is with great excitement that I invite you to join us this summer at the second annual Multispecialty Aesthetic Conference in San Diego, CA.  This will be the 53rd major aesthetic conference that I have had the honor and privilege of coordinating and I expect it to be even more special than our inaugural 2022 MAC.

Many of you know that I founded the Vegas Cosmetic Surgery Conference in 2004 and directed it until 2019. Since separating myself from the Vegas meeting, I’ve had numerous colleagues express regret that I was no longer involved. Knowing that Southern California was where this avocation for producing events had first taken root in me from 1993 -2004, they strongly suggested that I consider organizing a new West Coast meeting.  After much thought and with the help of close friends, we decided to return to SoCal with a brand new annual Multispecialty Aesthetic Conference and thus the birth of The MAC in August of 2022.

The 2022 MAC was extremely successful and enjoyed the very best attendee evaluations of any meeting I had previously organized.  And once again the MAC, which is being organized by the Multispecialty Foundation, will feature four concurrent meeting tracks that will include a less invasive track, a surgical track, rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty, and of course our very well-known and popular Practice Management and Marketing track, as well as a very vibrant exhibit hall.  Live demonstrations, at least 26 CME credits for physicians and nurses, an unparalleled ambience, and great camaraderie will be delivered.

Our Multispecialty philosophy will as always continue to guide us and we will never substitute sponsored sessions at the expense of scientific content.  Those who seek or prefer that model will be able to find them in other locations.  With help from esteemed colleagues, you can count on my team and I to work overtime to create the very best educational opportunity for all participants.  We are utilizing the same team of professionals who have managed in the past the Vegas Cosmetic Surgery Conference, and who currently manage the very successful Global Aesthetics Conference in Miami Beach - so you can count on a proven track record and level of expertise!

Our Advisory committee is listed on this site as is our ALL-STAR multi-disciplinary faculty.  Our faculty list is not our wish list but only those who have accepted our invitation. And we will continue to add new faculty who have new ideas and important concepts that they wish to share as we work to build out the program schedule.

The MAC Faculty are passionate about teaching and truly believe in the value of multispecialty interaction.  Participation will never be limited to only a small group, and as in the past, it is always our model and mission to identify and include the next generation of quality educators.

So, with all the above in mind, we look forward to seeing you at our second annual Multispecialty Aesthetic Conference at the beautiful Marriott Marquis Hotel in San Diego Marina.  The hotel itself sits on the San Diego Bayfront and all rooms have great views.  Of course, the exciting Gaslight District is only steps away and the international airport is just a short 10-minute ride.

When the rest of the country is sizzling in the summer heat, San Diego is a great place for both family and friends.  The kids will enjoy the world-famous Balboa Zoo and Sea World, the Padres baseball stadium is a couple of blocks away, and the amazing outdoor cafes in Little Italy are within walking distance.  So please come and join us this August to rejoin old friends and to make many new ones.

Sincerely,

S Randolph Waldman, MD
